Looking for the best WoW Forever rotation for your class? Classes changed a lot from Classic - new spells like Arcane Wrath, new talents and new resources - so the old rotations don't all apply. We ran every spec through our rotation simulator, the same engines behind our Sim DPS page, and wrote down the priority it plays. Here's the rotation for every class and spec at level 60.

How we built this rotation guide

Each rotation is the priority our simulator follows for that spec at level 60, in its BiS List gear with default talents, against a boss three levels higher. The simulator picks the best ability at every moment by that priority, so these are rotations that work in a fight, not just a list of buttons. Read each one left to right: earlier abilities come first whenever they're ready.

Try your own rotation in the rotation simulator

Every class guide on our site has the full rotation with the reason for each step. To test your own character, paste your armory link or addon export into Sim DPS: it shows your DPS, the rotation it used and how much each ability does. Want a different build? Make it in the talent calculator and paste the link.

Tip: healers' "rotations" are priorities too - keep your shields and heals over time up on the tank, use cooldowns on cooldown, and fill with your most efficient heal. Tanks' rotations are about threat and staying alive, so their numbers are survivability, not damage.
Our take: Forever rotations are busier than Classic's for most specs - Arcane has a real build-and-spend rhythm, Shadow Priests juggle shorter cooldowns, and Hunters weave Hawks and Multi-Shot. That's good news for anyone who found Classic's one-button specs dull. These are beta numbers; we'll update the rotations as Blizzard changes classes.
