Planning talents in Forever

How the calculator works, and what changed from Classic.

How to use the calculator

Pick a class and a level, then click a talent to put a point in it and right-click to take one out. You get your first point at level 10 and one more every level after that, so a level 60 character has 51 points. Each new row opens after five more points in that tree, and talents with an arrow need the talent they come from first - the same rules as in game.

Your build is saved in this browser and in the page's address, so you can bookmark it or send the link from the box above to a friend. The digits are the same as a talentsforever.com build, so links from there open here and the other way round.

Use your build in the simulator

Paste the link into the Talent build box in the Options of Find Upgrades or Sim DPS, and the simulator uses your build instead of the default one. With the Forever Upgrades addon your talents come along automatically.

What changed from Classic

Forever reworks many trees. Mages get Arcane Blast and Ice Lance as talents, warlocks Wrack and Incinerate, priests Penance and Prayer of Mending, shamans Lava Burst and Riptide, and druids Wild Growth and Berserk. Some talents moved between trees - Unrelenting Storm is now Restoration - and some were removed. Every spec's guide lists the changes in its own tree; open one from Pick your class.
