ObjectiveFind the three gemstones of command: The Gemstone of Smolderthorn, Gemstone of Spirestone, and Gemstone of Bloodaxe. Return them, along with the Unadorned Seal of Ascension, to Vaelan.$B$BThe Generals, as told to you by Vaelan, are: War Master Voone of the Smolderthorn; Highlord Omokk of the Spirestone; and Overlord Wyrmthalak of the Bloodaxe.

How to do it

  1. Pick up the quest from Vaelan
  2. Collect Gemstone of Spirestone - drops from Highlord Omokks (level 59, elite, ~13% drop) around
  3. Collect Gemstone of Smolderthorn - drops from War Master Voones (level 59, elite, ~17% drop) around
  4. Collect Gemstone of Bloodaxe - drops from Overlord Wyrmthalaks (level 60, elite, ~26% drop) around
  5. Collect Unadorned Seal of Ascension - drops from Scarshield Legionnaires (level 54–55, elite, ~5% drop) around Also from Firebrand Grunt (~5%) , Smolderthorn Shadow Priest (~5%)
  6. Return to Vaelan and hand in the quest

Tips

  • Dungeon quest - the objectives are inside a dungeon, so go with a group.
  • Gemstone of Spirestone drops about 13% of the time - plan on roughly 8 kills.
  • The targets are elite - don't take them on alone at the quest's level.
  • Gemstone of Smolderthorn drops about 17% of the time - plan on roughly 6 kills.
  • Gemstone of Bloodaxe drops about 26% of the time - plan on roughly 4 kills.
  • Unadorned Seal of Ascension drops about 5% of the time - plan on roughly 20 kills.
  • Hand it in to unlock Seal of Ascension.
